This article is quite encouraging. It has given me a fresh way to hope & ways to fight my spiritual & physical deficiencies.

Thanks, Sarah. I usually use this metaphor to introduce the Fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22-23), the 9 characteristics of Christ we should all display. Have a blessed day!

This is beautiful: "I like to think of the Holy Spirit as the Divine Iconographer, writing the face of Christ on our souls, transforming us into living icons of Christ for a world desperately looking for Him." Thanks for the inspiration!

Thomas,

Great post. I've recently been doing the "Examen" each night from Consoling the Heart of Jesus, and it has been extremely eye-opening. This very last sentence is always one to keep before us: "To perform my spiritual exercises as though I were doing them for the last time in my life, and in like manner to carry out all my duties." What if we actually lived that way... always!

Great site. Love it!

Blessings in His Merciful Heart,
